As a part of our team, you will play a key role in maintaining the financial health and integrity of our organization by ensuring our financial operations and procedures comply with legal regulations and standards. This is a permanent role that offers a unique opportunity to work with an experienced team of professionals in a rapidly growing industry. Responsibilities: 1. Assisting in the planning and execution of internal audits. 2. Monitoring and analyzing financial reports to identify any irregularities or discrepancies. 3. Preparing accurate financial reports for senior management. 4. Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and controls by executing routine audits. 5. Checking financial data for accuracy, relevance, and completeness. 6. Identifying and reporting on financial risks and non-compliance issues. 7. Assisting in the development of recommendations and plans for corrective action. 8. Collaborating with team members to enhance auditing procedures and processes. 9. Maintaining updated knowledge of applicable laws and industry regulations. Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in auditing, preferably in the Mortgage industry. 3. Proficiency in monitoring and analyzing financial reports. 4. Strong knowledge of auditing principles and financial regulations. 5. Exceptional attention to detail and excellent numerical skills. 6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel. 8. Excellent communication and report writing skills. 9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 10. Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification will be considered a plus.
