Sr Financial Analyst - Regional Finance -Open to the below Locations:Miramar, FL Tampa, FLTucker, GA Greensboro, NC Summary:We are looking for someone who possesses strong business, collaboration, and financial acumen skills, and can communicate effectively with senior levels of the organization. - The Senior Financial Analyst will perform quantitative analysis in a supporting role for the Finance department. This position assists with various recurring and non-recurring projects initiated by the Finance Manager and Director. This individual must be knowledgeable of general and industry specific accounting and finance practices and flexible enough to manage the more complex activities associated with analyzing general ledger results and the development of financial statements and corresponding reports. The role is based out of the Miramar facility, but I would consider applicants from the Atlanta, Greensboro and Tampa areas -Responsibilities: - --- - - - - - - - - Support the Southeast Region Lab Operations which includes Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia. --- - - - - - - - - Will be responsible for supporting the Functional (Hospitals, Rapid Response Labs, Anatomic Pathology) Leadership teams throughout the Southeast. --- - - - - - - - - Prepare and assist with accounting transactions in liaison with Centralized Accounting during month end close as it relates to their specific Functions. --- - - - - - - - - Responsible for upkeep of Lab Operations Service Contract database. Review all renewals and equipment repair requests from lab operations. --- - - - - - - - - Review and -approve licenses & College of American Pathology proficiency renewals. - - - - - --- - - - - - - - - Prepare monthly Financial Reporting packages, while providing insightful business and financial analytics that provide management with insight and perspective as to the Regions' results. --- - - - - - - - - Ensure that the general ledger structure for new acquisitions is properly mapped / integrated into the Quest PeopleSoft reporting structure. Track actual performance to acquisition model. --- - - - - - - - - Preparation of Financial planning and analysis in support of, monthly outlook, quarterly forecasts, annual budgets and AOP power point decks, and periodic budget restatements. --- - - - - - - - - Support management with internal audit and control owner for internal control testing (ICE) related to SOX. --- - - - - - - - - Other duties as assigned by Finance Manager. -Education Preferred: - - - - - - - BS/BA degree in accounting Requirements: - - - - - - - --- - - - - - - - - A minimum of 4-6 years financial analysis is required. - - - - - - - --- - - - - - - - - Outstanding Excel spreadsheet skills. --- - - - - - - - - Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy, especially under the pressure of month-end. --- - - - - - - - - Flexibility in working longer hours at month end and during the budget and forecast periods. -
