Job Description:
Position Summary: The Business Development Manager is
responsible for developing new business and achieving the annual
budget and business development goals of the company. We prioritize
individuals who are highly self-directed and initiative-taking,
thriving on the prospect of uncapped commissions. The ideal
candidate should be comfortable working autonomously, as aspects of
the role will require a lone-ranger mentality. Additionally, the
candidate should be willing to travel frequently within the
Charlotte area. These qualities are essential for driving business
growth and meeting sales targets effectively in this role.Minimum
Job RequirementsEducation: An associate degree or higher in
Landscape Management, Horticulture, or Business Administration and
Bilingual English/Spanish highly preferred.Experience: 3+ years of
progressive and combined commercial landscape production and sales
experience, preferred. A combination of experience and education
will also be considered. Proven history in developing and closing
targeted sales.Essential Functions: The examples of functions

Meeting sales goals both individual and corporate-wide, to include
but not limited to, commercial projects on an annual basis.*
Maintains yearly schedule for client events, drop-offs,
lunch-and-learns for sales team.* Attends client meetings, board of
directors meetings, as needed.* Makes initial contact with client
and takes all required measurements.* Ensure that vendor pricing is
competitive and accurate.* Prepares all proposals/bids with Sales
Assistant* Approves all bids for the sales team before they are
present to the client.* Presents effective presentations and
submits all proposals/documents to client.* Closes sale and
coordinates job specifics with appropriate Branch Manager.*
Interfaces with client and ensures all clients concerns are
addressed in a timely and professional manner.Other Functions*
Maintains CRM and tracks sales process for all sales team members.*
Maintains and updates CRM software daily, i.e. deadlines, meetings,
notes, points of contacts, phone conversations, etc.* Assists in
the development and implementation of the companys marketing plan.*
Thoroughly understands and complies with company policies,
procedures, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).* Leads the
Sales L10 weekly meeting and sales training meetings; attends
company meetings, as required.* Presents companys quality
expectations and standards to all employees.* Manages budgets for
Networking, Marketing and Sales Support.* Ensures sales team
adheres to company dress code.* Works with Director of Sales/CFO on
marketing and sales strategic planning.* Consistently attending
networking opportunities while increasing professional
network.Special Notes Licenses and Certifications* Drivers License:
A class C drivers license is required during appointment to this
job classification. The drivers license must be maintained in good
standing as per company insurance standards.Direct Hire
