Job Description:

Duties: Builds new and enhances existing enterprise wide functionalities

for the Digital Platform framework. Ensures continuous delivery of

technical services. Leverages latest cloud technology platform to ensure

high-availability. Uses business knowledge to translate the vision for

divisional initiatives into business solutions by developing complex or

multiple software applications and conducting studies of alternatives.

Analyzes and recommends changes in project development policies,

procedures, standards, and strategies to development experts and

management.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Participates in architecture design teams.

• Defines and implements application level architecture.

• Develops applications on complex projects, components, and

subsystems for the division.

• Recommends development testing tools and methodologies and reviews

and validates test plans.

• Responsible for QA readiness of software deliverables.

• Develops comprehensive documentation for multiple applications or

subsystems.

• Establishes full project life cycle plans for complex projects

across multiple platforms.

• Responsible for meeting project goals on-time and on-budget.

• Advises on risk assessment and risk management strategies for

projects.

• Plans and coordinates project schedules and assignments for

multiple projects.

• Acts as a primary liaison for business units to resolve various

project/technology issues.

• Provides technology solutions to daily issues and technical

evaluation estimates on technology initiatives.

• Advises senior management on technical strategy.

• Mentors junior team members.

• Performs independent and complex technical and functional analysis

for multiple projects supporting several divisional initiatives.

• Develops original and creative technical solutions to on-going

development efforts.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in

Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems,

Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and five (5) years of

experience in the job offered or five (5) years of experience designing and

developing middleware solutions for enterprise; Or, alternatively, a

Master’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science,

Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics,

Physics, or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience in

the job offered or three (3) years of experience designing and developing

middleware solutions for enterprise. Candidate must also possess:

Demonstrated Expertise (“DE”) designing and developing REST APIs using

enterprise grade open source applications (WSO2 Enterprise Service Bus),

Message Exchange Patterns (MEPs), OSGi technology specifications, and

frameworks (Apache Synapse, Apache Axis2, and WSO2 Carbon Core); DE

designing and developing Account Opening applications, Customer

Relationship Management applications, and Web Content Management Systems

applications within a financial software products environment to meet

business requirements and adhere to financial regulations (FINRA), using

Dropwizard framework and enterprise applications (SDL Web Content

Management); DE conducting trainings and consultations on the

implementation of enterprise financial solutions using open source

applications (WSO2) and middleware stack; implementing continuous

deployment and continuous delivery paradigms using enterprise applications

(stash, Jenkins pipelines, and HP UrbanCode Deploy) and SOA governance and

API lifecycle management applications (WSO2 Governance Registry and API

Manager); DE designing and developing enterprise cloud-based solutions

using Amazon Cloud Computing Services (Amazon Web services); developing

Web-based content management and content delivery solutions using DynamoDB,

Simple Storage Service (S3), and CloudFront; and performing serverless

software development using Amazon Lambda and Amazon API Gateway.
