Overview:We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team. As a Staff Accountant, you will play a key role in our financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to grow their career in accounting and gain valuable experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.Duties:- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions- Assist with the preparation of tax returns and compliance with tax regulations- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial management initiatives- Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and internal controlsExperience:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance- 2+ years of experience in accounting or related field- Strong knowledge of financial acumen and accounting principles- Proficiency in financial statement preparation and analysis- Experience with bank reconciliations and double entry bookkeeping- Familiarity with corporate finance concepts and securities law is a plus- Knowledge of LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) is a plus- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting softwareIf you are a dedicated professional with a passion for numbers and a desire to contribute to our organization's success, we encourage you to apply for the Staff Accountant position.
